What the job is: 

We’re looking for an Insights Strategist (reporting to: General Manager) to join us and make more work that gets people talking. (In a good way!). You’ll be working on  projects for our biggest clients, with a focus on B2B and some B2C.

  • But a fiercely independent full-service creative boutique. 

We’re ex-googlers, creatives  and filmmakers who started in a house on Greenland road to create the agency we would have loved to work with. We have partnered with world industry leaders such as Google, Red Bull, BT, Samsung, and Virgin, building relationships and creating work that inspires.

What you’ll do:

Strategy is an important part of House of Greenland DNA, and your role as a Senior Strategist is to make sure all the work we produce reflects this, by:

  • Acting as a marketing consultant for our clients
  • Translating client challenges into inspiring briefs for the teams 
  • Making sure creative work is grounded in solid insights

Main responsibilities:

Research and analysis - Robust data and insights

  • Research to understand a market and boil it down to key findings.
  • Gather audience insights through qualitative and quantitative methods.

Creative and media strategy - Clear plans leading to inspiring creatives and strong results

  • Understand a client’s situation,  extract strategic information and translate into an actionable plan
  • Build inspiring creative briefs that speak to client, account and creatives.
  • Guide creative process, putting structure around ideas and territories
  • Proficiency with media channels, esp. Digital 

Client facing  - Sell strategy and creative concepts

  • Build sound strategic decks to successfully land creative work for clients.
  • Present, listen and engage during the session: help clarify goals and translate into concrete agency action points.

Agency  - Strategic thinking inside/outside House of Greenland

  • Build an internal strategy playbook to support future projects
  • Create external thought leadership articles for the agency

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a strategy/planning role:
    • Insights and Research experience
    • Strategist in an ad agency
    • Social media strategist from digital agency
    • Hybrid brand/comms planner
    • (Digital) Marketing manager client-side
  • Experience with the different comms/ads channels is a plus but we’re not looking for a pure media planner.
  • Credentials across B2B and B2C accounts is ideal.
  • Hands-on and autonomous with a sharp eye for detail 
  • Excellent internal and external communication ability
  • Personable and collaborative manner
